This is officially week one for me. Key workout this week, 10 mile run tomorrow. Easy pace, moderately hilly. As a rule, for my long runs, Saturdays, Carnation, Snoqualmie Valley Trail, 10+ miles. Sunday are long ride days. Next week will be an exception as my dear wife and I are going road tripping for a week. 20 years of wedded bliss.
Race Schedule:
January – Nookachamps ½ Marathon
February – Birch Bay Marathon
March – Mercer Island ½
April – ½ IM somewhere. I kinda leaning toward the Rage ½ in Las Vegas
April – Hawaii Lotto pics come out
May – Olympic Distance somewhere
June – Coeur d’Alene.
ROS – depending on the Hawaii Lotto thing, Train, or Goof Off
I took this summer off to goof off. I’m 15lbs over weight and chopping at the bit to get back in the swing and get fit again.
Somewhere I have read something about stating goals publicly so here goes. My IM PR is 12:04 at Florida arguably the fastest course in the circuit. For CDA:

Bike 5:45
T2 0:05
Run 4:30
Total 11:35
Ok I said it. It’s still not Kona Qual time but will rock for me. Time to stop just working out and start training.
